June is the earliest time to treat yourself to the distinct earthy flavour of the truffle. To celebrate this once a year moment we are holding our very first Truffle Dinner on Thursday 15 June at No.1 Bent Street.
Join Mike McEnearney and his head chef Jeffrey De Rome for a five-course menu featuring truffles from Jayson Mesman’s Truffle Farm in Mount Majura near Canberra, and matching wines by Bryan Martin of Ravensworth Vineyard in Murrumbateman, NSW. As part of the feast, expect to eat cobia sashimi with braised truffled mushrooms and radish, spit roast ‘demi-deuil’ chicken vinaigrette and Mike’s famous crème caramel.
